PROJECT MANAGER (SAP)

 

A professional at this position level must have the following responsibilities :-

  • Define the project plan and schedule and coordinate with vendor to reach common agreement on timeline, milestones, deliverables and deadlines
  • Adhere to the Project Management Office (PMO) requirements of the enterprise PMO including creation of weekly/monthly status with updated schedule, budget and risk
  • Manage the project log for the project to incorporate all issues, action items, risks and reviewed it on a weekly/monthly basis with steering committee to identify escalation and mitigation strategies
  • Conduct testing alongside with PMO and Solution Architect (SA) to ensure test coverage is met and satisfactory as per customer standards
  • Work with project manager’s of other projects to co-ordinate system integration scope and requirements
  • Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Report and escalate project issues to management as needed
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Ensure adherence to ICT Policies and Guidelines

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Telecommunication or other related field
  • 7 to 10years of IT work experience, including 3 or more years managing projects
  • Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum is required
  • Familiar with project management methodologies (for example, PMBOK, PRINCE2 and DevOps)
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence
