PROJECT MANAGER (NON-SAP)
CLOUD NETWORK

 

This role will provide dedicated support and assistance to the Program Lead in the following areas:

  • Manage the entire cloud infrastructure initiatives as prescribed by TNB’s cloud blueprint.
  • This includes but not limited to management of Hybrid (Private & Public) Cloud Setup, Cloud Management Platform, Tools Rationalisation and DevOps setup.
  • Do a high level solution design for all cloud infrastructure initiatives to be taken up by delivery team for further articulation and implementation.
  • Do a high level implementation planning for all cloud infrastructure initiatives to be taken up by delivery team for further articulation and execution.
  • Financial management of all cloud infrastructure initiatives (budget vs actual, cashflow, etc)
  • Business Case development of all cloud infrastructure initiatives (investment, risks, benefits, etc.)
  • Supporting the management of schedule and budget for all cloud infrastructure initiatives.
  • Define the quality standards for all cloud infrastructure initiatives.
  • Provide input to PgMO for document and configuration management (knowledge management).
  • Provide input to PgMO as a centralised support for managing changes and tracking risks and issues.
  • Provide management support for procurement, financial and legislative matters for all cloud infrastructure initiatives.
  • Utilize the established Project Management Methodology (PMM) in managing the entire cloud infrastructure initiatives

Education
Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science or Engineering

Professional Certification
Advantage

  • PMP or Prince2 certified

Experience
Required

  • Experience in managing at least two(2) medium scale (RM5 million above) software defined network projects for cloud usage from initiation until closure.
  • Knowledge in software defined network technologies.
  • Knowledge of using Microsoft Project as planning tool.

Personal Skill
Requirements

  • Positive attitude towards works.
  • Basic understanding of finance, profit & loss, budgeting.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Melayu (for Malaysian candidates)
  • Good interpersonal skills for dealing with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to present technical details to a non-technical audience.
  • The ability to work with a structured and methodical approach, combined with an enquiring mind.
  • An aptitude for problem solving, with the ability to take a logical route to the source of an error.
  • A basic understanding of business processes. Capable of analyzing a process.
  • An enquiring mind, good at problem solving.
  • Team player attitude.
