Job Description

This individual should have significant experience as a DB analyst architecture. This analyst is responsible for performing intermediate to advanced tasks related to database design and implementation, performance, specific to Oracle and DB2 databases. Also, a working knowledge in application design, development, and performance tuning. Provide accurate and creative solutions to user problems of moderate nature to ensure user productivity. Microsoft SQL Server support would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage enterprise databases example Oracle and DB2through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.
• Independently analyze, assess the systems architecture(database)currently in place and working with technical staff to recommend solutions or alternative to improve it by adhering to a technology roadmap, and minimize technical debt.
• Able to support database on various platform such as Windows server and Linux.
• Manage, review, and communicates database projects with the Application, Infrastructure, and Outsourcer. e.g., Database analysis, performance tuning or required changes with outsourcer.
• Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members.
• To design the proposal from Business case for the budget estimation, product/technology solution and selection, accurate planning, high quality and low cost.
• Provide updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs, and budgets.
• Continually research current and emerging technologies and propose changes where needed.
• Understand all aspects of Project & Operation Team constraint to include scope, schedule, budget, quality, cost, risk, and resources. Be able to recommend and make technological and managerial decisions to reconcile these restrictions with Project & Operation Team goals.
